Serena Dugan: Shelter Island Collection

On the Eastern tip of Long Island, positioned between the Hamptons and the North Fork, Shelter Island connects North and South by car ferry.  As you arrive you’re greeted by salt air and beach grasses, the sound of bullfrogs and country roads lined by Osprey nests and farm stands.  This new collection of fabric and wallpaper from Serena Dugan brings to life the magic of Shelter Island by mixing batik influences with Jacobean references, painterly marks with the artist’s hand visible, and new printing methods.
